The Victorian Government's Electric Vehicle Trial will run until mid-2014 and will help Victoria to better understand the process, time lines and barriers for transitioning to electric vehicle technologies.

The trial is seeking households and fleets to drive an electric vehicle for three months each.
• Households will be able to apply for a chance to trial a vehicle in 2012 towards the end of November.
• Fleets will be able to apply towards the end of January 2012.
