Hiya, I've been sorta lurking around the forum for a little while, just never got round to introducing myself. My bf has an XR5 that he's been modding & is forever on the XR5 forums, so got me interested in looking into what could be done with my lancer.
Had my 2008 VR for over 3 years now. Rarely saw any others around back then, now they're everywhere Want a ralliart next time around though My car has done nearly 70,000km now, and I only just had to replace the stock tyres. I took the opportunity to upgrade the wheels to 18" (king wheels intune blue with kumho KU31 215/45).

Welcome to the club Cathryn.
It sounds like you have a few ideas for your car. I hope you find this site useful and enjoy spending time here like your bf does with xr5 club.
If you need any help please just ask.
Dont say to much to your bf about a Ralliart as he may get jealous of you having a faster car then him
Try to get along to a Vic meet as they are really friendly and helpful. They will even allow xXR5 to come.

thanks aspir3.
A couple years ago, bf wrote off his XR5 in June. Insurance policy was to replace car. As the timing was between models, he had the choice of waiting till Sept for new XR5, or choose another car of similar value. He looked at a ralliart, but decided against because they don't come in manual. In the end he had to wait til Dec to get his new XR5, and had to drive around in my dad's bubble 121 in the meantime... lol.

Welcome Cath.
I realise you're on the West Side but I do hope your BF, your CJ and you would be willing to make the trip to the East and join up for our 10th State wide meet:
VIC Statewide Meet 10.0 - @Team Mitsubishi Ralliart 19/3
Well worth while!
