I just wanted to let all our QLD Club CJ Lancer friends know that we are heading to Willowbank again on Wed 2nd Feb 2011 for some awesome Test and Tune fun down the quarter mile.
Here is the info you need....
*Be at Willowbank raceway, 1 Champions Way, Willowbank QLD from 5pm, runs commence at 6pm and finish when u have had enough.
*You WILL need a long sleeve shirt, long jeans, shoes, socks and an Australian standard helmet. Guys, they do check this and you will need to pass scrutineering, so please don't say you didnt know.
*It is $40 to do the runs, which admits the driver and one spectator, or $20 to just come and watch. There are heaps of awesome cars to watch so bring some friends.
*Rain. Willowbank DOES open if the rain is only light. They only call off the event if there is significant water coverage "pooling" on the track as that makes it dangerous. I certainly dont want to aquaplane into a wall doing 160kmh + arrgghhhh

*Most importantly, THIS IS NOT A RACE. The XR5 owners club, just like CLUB CJ, promotes safe driving and encourages everyone to drive within their limitations. We are there for fun and good times, and to also test our cars, it is not about bragging rights. So please come along and enjoy yourselves
