86MIM's Lecture Series.

Postby 86MIM » Tue Apr 20, 2010 9:10 pm

lecture series 1.0

---

I'm going to put it out there, to be bluntly honest with everyone, the issue at hand is that many opinions posted on threads are not constructive. This is not a good thing, and it's something that needs to be addressed. If people just kept their posts to something that is constructive and actually helps out the original topic, then tempers and attitudes wouldn't flare up and so on and so forth.

If people have grievances with topics, meets or events, and sadly as it seems, other people, take it up via PM - or grow a pair and face it like an adult. I'm tired of reading 14yo drivel. People should just try an attitude adjustment, because honestly, I don't give a sh*t about what you think you know - unless you have the PROOF to back up what you are saying, it's unfounded opinion - pointless drivel. I'd of thought that others - like myself - give a sh*t about what people bring to the table.

This post isn't directed at any person(s) specifically, but I'm not the only one tired of the b*tch fit drama. Grow the f*ck up people, act your ages, not your shoe sizes. Show some maturity, integrity and intellect. If you don't like what I've got to say, honestly, do you really think I'm the kind of person that actually gives a sh*t? Ah, no, sorry I'm not. I'm here to learn from others, not negatively critique their suggestions and personal taste. If you don't like something, keep it to yourself - I don't care and they don't care - the only thing people care about is being respectful and diligent to abiding by the Club CJ protocols.

It's a terrible fate where people refuse to swallow their pride. I'd suggest people start to do so, otherwise grow a pair and just sort your sh*t out like adults in private - not on show for the rest of the Club to see. I'm not trying to take sides and I'm certainly not going to tell you things you want to hear/read, I'm just trying to be objective and pragmatic about this whole debacle.

If this post gets removed, then it gets removed. If you think I'm writing this at you personally - I'm not. I'm just venting what has been on my mind for the last couple of weeks and I've just finally articulated what I want to say and how I wanted to say it.

Act like a child, and you'll be treated like one - I take that very literally, and won't be concerned for anyones feelings should people decide to continue to act like teenagers.

It is quite unfortunate that it had to come to this.

There will always be people who do not agree on certain points. There is also a way to get your point across in such a way that it is not offensive and childish.

Threads will always go a little off topic here and there, but there is no excuse for members to carry on in a way that will offend and annoy.

+1 Kym

Thank you for the support, and I mean no disrespect to actual teenage members, it is a metaphor after all.

The only way I can foresee these "issues" being dealt with swiftly, would be by just ignoring trigger posts/comments. I've started doing it, it's working fine for me. However, if there is a pragmatic approach to the issue then air it.

Nice work Kym, as you said you are only putting into words what many of us are thinking already. I think we all need to be a little more constructive with our comments and be open to others opinions what ever the subject.

One of the biggest problems with forums and emails is they lack emotion, so often it can be interpreted in the opposite way to what it was originally intended. What this means is that we need to make sure our posts are not open to interpretation or miss read what was originally intended.

The golden oldie is "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all" however please tell us what you think but be constructive and back it up with content and a contextual point of view.

We are all guilty at some point, some more than others, but i for one will make an extra effort :) I hope everyone joins in, Go ClubCJ!!!!!

I dont think i need to say anything, but im gonna anyway.

its pretty obvious to everyone what this is referring to. and what they all are thinking about.

i dont need to say more. im gonna get raged at for saying this anyway.

and probably this. i dont know if the people that argue with me have noticed that you are just as bad, as me. yes i say negative things about things so what. i have a right to my opinion if i want to say it i can. it is you that take it against your self to have a problem with my opinion. i dont force you to reply, you choose to reply. if you dont like what i say, then dont reply to it simple as that. your all telling me if i have nothing nice to say dont say anything. Why dont you listen to that yourselves you choose to saying something bad to what i say. then i get told that exact statement. what a way to be a hypocrite. yell at me and say things that aern't nice, then tell me to say nothing if its not nice. yer way to use an analogy.

and that wasn't directed at you Frazza just happened to be right after you had said that.

it was at the other 4 or 5 people that have said that same line to me right after doing things that contradict that exact statement.l

now i just need to sit back and wait for the Rage. or adrian or someone else will remove this.

But then that will be a little unfair, if i must be silent wile things that pretty obviously involve me are getting said.
