ITEM: HKS SSQV 3 BOV for Ralliart

LOCATION: West Sydney

ITEM CONDITION: Brand New .. Box opened to check the contents inside..

REASON FOR SELLING: Decided not to put it on and spend money on other things.. might get a bov later down the track :)

PRICE AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS: Bought it brand new shipped from japan for $387.. looking for $350

EXTRA INFO: Here's a clip of the exact same bov kit on the evo x ... This bov kit is ralliart specific for both sedan and hatch (CY4A/CX4A) and not a universal kit..

dont think its adjustable, but there are optional fins for the bov which you can buy to change the sound frequency of the bov. The optional fins retail for 1,900YEN so about $25..

the bov also comes with the adapter so you can run the bov to full recirculation..

i havent heard one in person on a ralliart/evo x so i cant really say.. there are plenty of clips of this bov on youtube although on the evo x but should sound exactly the same as what it would be on the ralliart..

my brother has one on his liberty gt and sounds good and not that loud on his but i cant say the same for the ralliart as i havent heard it in person like i said before :D

I'm a little perplexed...what does the BOV do for the car exactly?? apart from make you sound like a ricer as you come down the street...

I am presuming it adds a little bit of performance but not sure...

The BOV releases the pressure buildup from your turbo for the intake plennum. Your car has one from factory (recirculated for emmissions). It is the black thing on the engine side of your intake.

I have a SSQV V1 on my RA plumb back and a HKS panel filter. The sound you get is quite good without being too obtrusive.
