A query regarding parking lights

I got a 2011 lancer SX and I noticed that whenever I unlock my car with the button on the key, the parking lights also switch on despite the light stock being on "off" position but when I start the car, it switches off the parking lights. When I switch on the parking lights and get out of the car, then the computer switches off the lights by itself but when I unlock the car while the switch is on the "on" position then the parking lights dont switch on.

I mean whats going on with this???

It's perfectly normal
The computer in question is known as an ETACS box.
The lights get turned on as a courtesy no Matter what time of night or day.
Comes in handy at night time.
This is all explained to you in your owner manual that is usually located in the glove box
