Regarding the brake rotors and brake pads
I got a 2011 lancer sx and I was looking to change the brake rotors and pads of my car and since I was looking to upgrade them (sorta), I was looking at some parts from DBA and on their site, they are recommending me the Wagner brake pads (DB1441WB) for front and (DB1686WB) for the rear but when I search it on supercheap auto, it says that these pads doesn't support my car.
I am confused and I don't know where to find the answer from, can you guys help me out? Just lemme know will these parts fit or not if someone else has used these pads before but y'all can recommend me any other brand like bendix or something like that.
Also, do you guys have any idea that does supercheap auto takes the bought parts back if they don't fit the car?
looking forward to your reply!
Thank you in advance!
Re: Regarding the brake rotors and brake pads
Easiest way is to look at the pads in your car now by removing them rather then believe a web site.
If you have zero clue how to do this, go have a chat to your local mechanic.
Have a look thru Bendix web site as they have a decent list with pictures of the pads
However
If you have no.clue what the pads look like in your car now then all the pictures in the world won't be of much use to you

There are pads to suit 2.0l cars then there are pads to suit the 2.4l cars they are different to each other.Go to a spare parts shop and if they use your registration plate number as a reference they will be able to give you the correct parts.
I think those two pads numbers you quoted in your post are for a VRX which has the slightly larger brakes.

When you figure out what pads you need , I suggest you write it in your owner manual somewhere

Re: Regarding the brake rotors and brake pads
caliper for 2.0 and 2.4 design are slightly different but I believe the pads used are the same. the disc are usually 282 (or is it 276) and 294 for the 2.0 and 2.4 respectively.
However there are 2.0 (mine did) that come standard with the bigger 294 disc.
At the end of the day best is still to take a measurement to make sure what combo you have on your car. there are too many model variations (SX, SE, DE, GT, GT-S, VRX, etc),

Back to enjoying the row-yourself-transmission after 20 years of auto.

If you look thru here , there is a few different types of pads available
Hence why I suggested it's best to look at the pads on your car and compare them with the photos to get a match.

Re: Regarding the brake rotors and brake pads
My car is the first of the CJ VRX it has the 2.0L engine but has the 294 sized rotors, so it seems to vary by model not necessarily by engine size (though i do understand that the VRX only had the 2.0L for the first 6 months). But i do believe that only the VRX, Ralliart and EVO are the only models to have different sized rotors and pads.
No longer own a lancer, Fairwell.

Re: Regarding the brake rotors and brake pads
Hey guys! Thank y'all for your replies and suggestions. Right now what I've got to know from the owners manual and brochure is that if you got ES, SX or VR then the front rotor is 276 mm 'Ventilated Disc' and rear rotor is a 262 mm 'Solid disc' whereas in VRX and Aspire, it got a 294 mm 'Ventilated disc' and rear is 302 mm 'Solid Disc'. I just ordered some new DBA T2 slotted rotors for front and rear and the sizes are the same as the OEM in SX model. In brake pads, I did some research and I looked at both DBA and Bendix and found out that the part number DB1441 (for front brake pads) signifies some sort of dimensions which is sold by both bendix and DBA. DBA is selling the pads under the name of 'Wagner brake products'. This whole dimentional thing is same with rear brake pads (DB1686). These brake pads parts numbers are suitable for all the CJ models.
Bendix is also selling brake pads which are suitable for brembo REAR callipers on CJ lancers. Part number DB1464.
Will update y'all once I installed these parts.
Thank you all for helping me out!
