Postby Ablice » Thu Jan 02, 2020 5:16 pm

Hi all,
Very recently bought my first car
2011 Lancer VR 128,000 kms in very nice condition very happy with it :)
New to cars but looking to mod mine with headunit, turbo kit, wheels n tires and other stuff down the road
any tips or advice as to which are the better things to buy for each topic is always greatly appreciated but happy to look around

Cheers. ablice

Mostly good ideas but adding a turbo should be avoided if you're new to cars.

Welcome abord to the forum
If your really keen to install Turbo to the NA lancer I suggest a Ralliart Motor , they will bolt up, there is wiring and ECU hacks to be done. Not impossible to do. However , far from recommended for rookies.
Easier way is to forget the turbo, get some custom cams for what you got E85 fuel. Way cheaper.

If you have a CVT , then forget the turbo all together.
And when you need a bigger throttle body, give me a tell

Welcome aboard

Welcome to club CCJ.
It’s not recommended to bolt on a turbo on our na Lancers
