Front fog light plastic blank out/ options

Postby artoawesome » Mon Aug 11, 2014 11:35 am

Hey guys

I have a 2013 es cj lancer which comes with the sports body kit as standard. Up front it has the grill with fog light holding areas blanked out, and it has always irritated me to look at.

I considered fog lights but I will never use them and would much prefer to buy a replacement piece for each side instead, I saw one persons on here has little duct looking vents, while other models once came with the plastic mesh look and no fog light areas in the plastic.

Do you guys have any recommendations for me? I would like to utilize that area for led Driving light strips, but I can't ATM because the fog light casings are raised and in the way.

Any pics of yours and tips much appreciated for some inspiration :)

You can get fog light delete kits which im pretty sure come with just a mesh grill part. not sure on pricing but might be worth looking into.

Thanks shamoo - I'm having no luck there as they seem to be up around the three humpty mark and I'm not interested in spending big bucks on that small aesthetic change - I have been given some interesting tips by another member re buying the mesh itself and fashioning something - I am tossing between that and doing some plastic fabrication myself - maybe the year of plastics elective in high school will finally pay off haha

Here i was thinking it was just for the bludge lesson ;)
