Custom Exhaust in SA?

Postby Connor » Mon Jul 28, 2014 9:58 pm

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with any of the custom exhaust places around Adelaide.

I'm nearish Gepps Cross and am looking at getting a custom cat-back for my new MY14 ES. (Everyone on Sunday made me jealous).

I was thinking something along the lines of a 2.25" something that isn't the thickness of a pen anyway!

2.25 is not that much of a common piping size so exhaust joints charge more for it

the common size most people get is 2.0 or 2.5 inch

if you are after a catback you wont get any performance increase nor decrease so go 2.5 inch and you get a deep tone, also exhaust might be able to pop

He came from ET and does awesome custom work. Always decent cars in there and well priced.

Yes thats the one. John who owned the ABS still works there with Peter so its a good one stop brake/exhaust shop.
Ive had both pipework and brakework done there and very happy.

Yeah I used to get john to work on my past cars.
They were going to put a RA exhaust on my car but then told me it wouldn't fit unless I cut stuff. He gave me a quote for a custom exhaust n yeah was pretty good priced.
