So this is a thread about my frustrations with AMM (Australian motors mitsubishi) reynella, today was the last time that I will ever go back to this specific service provider:
In saying this I have had excellence in service every time from the former site at mitsubishi melrose park before they merged with wayville
So here is the rundown of the experience with AMM reynella,
1.I had my fto in for work to fix an oil leak all work was completed but not in the time line given, I then had to take the car myself to get work done by an external company (wheel alignment) the next day because they could not get around to it.
2. At a later stage I had some other work done (cannot remember nor important), about a week later is had a look under my car because I had noticed some odd noise, turned out it was a 40cm trim removal just sitting at the bottom of my engine bay, when I took it in they made a joke of this saying that one of the boys was missing this and wondering where it had gone, so I went straight to the serious point of what of it had fell out at speed and caused damage, the guy just chuckled it off,
3. The period with the blue cj didn't really have much of an issue only thing was they did not update the service on the ecu so It kept saying periodic inspection required
4. As you may know I bought an 2008 EVO MR, which was just coming out of warranty so I thought that I would take it to my local service center (AMM reynella) as it is the closest to me and it is the Chrissy period so I am busy with work doing minimum of 13-14 hour days. So I took it ther for the end of warranty service on the 18/11/13 and all apparently checked out, they completed the work no issue minus they did not have an air filter in stock so they would order me one in (I payed for this part with the service), today (17/02/14) my family finally got a call from them saying that the part had arrived, as this was my mother on the phone she asked if it was for the evo or the vrx, the man told her that they do not service EVO's here so here I am wondering what the heck they actually did that day?, do they know what they are actually doing?, further more how long does it take to get a damn air filter? And then to be told on the phone to come and pick it up, it will be easy for me to fit just pushed it over the edge, need less to say they will be fitting it, I know that it is a 2 second job but that is not the point.
I will say that Ben in spare parts and Sarah at the desk have been more that helpful every time I have been there, however good these two individuals were it does not negate the rest of my experience, again how hard is it to get a damn air filter
This is an example of the bad service that I have experienced at that particular place however I have had good experiences at other mitsubishi service providers, I may try the mitsubishi at wayville if it suits however after going to Driven motor sports to get my breaks fitted I know where I will be going even though it is over an hour away, nothing beats good service

theres your problem .... Australian motors ... i would never ever !! let them touch my lancer when i had it .. the number of story i have heard .. of them not doing things .. damaging and crashing my friends RA colt and crashing it into a wall .. and ripping customers off ..They even struggled to get my widow decal in when i ordered it ... they are so disorganised and unreliable ... Agostino , North east are by far the best two in SA to get ur car looked at ... RA lancer will go to North East only
