Side skirts...where do I buy from?

Postby Miss Wendy » Thu Sep 26, 2013 5:33 pm

Could someone please guide me to where to buy the side skirts for my 2012 lancer. The car looks plain without them. I don't want fancy ones.
Thanks in advance. Wendy

Hi Wendy , The only place I know of is Bodykitskingdom in Queensland , They will not paint their parts if they send them so you will have to have them painted yourself , I have brought some parts from them myself & to be honest with you I found the fitment not that good but saying this I don't know about the side skirts ? "Maybe another member has brought these & can mention about the fitment" ? ..... I am not sure who else would sell them .... http://www.bodykitskingdom.co.uk/magent ... ancer.html

the places I know of
just jap (highly recommended by many)
and car mate (their stuff is ok, but made of fibreglass so u mighthave alignment issues)

or you could just do a google search and see if it might be cheaper that way (paying for the item+ postage)

I would not recommend body kits kingdom for side skirts. After I got them painted and fitted I noticed it was very flimsy and there was lots of movement. I had to do a bit of diy in the middle to secure it.

I think it was because of the lack of mounting points along the actual side skirt. Only mounting spots were on the ends of each side skirt.

Then again, for the price you pay for them still a good deal if you're happy to do a bit of DIY to secure the middle section.
