G'day guys. I installed my angel lights today all by myself. Below are pictures of what I had to go through. Getting out plastic clips of death, over and under the car and the front bumper. Removing the bumper was literally the WORST thing to take off your car. But I did it.

Bumper off which took 20 minutes just to pull off

If you're interested in doing this yourself, The installation itself is really straight forward.
The best way to see this installation is by thinking of it as:

1. Unscrew
2. Remove Bumper
3. Put headlights in
4. Screw everything back on.

Thanks Erin! :). Like I said most of it is unscrewing. But getting the actual bumper off is literally the worst thing to do. I do have a linky for you to looky.

If you do end up buying them. Just note that, the headlight bulbs don't come with them. I turned my lights on and I'm like "Where's my headlights?? But yes the blinkers, highbeams and DRLS work nicely.

Lol that's okay. I'm only adding 3 modifications and that's it. That's why I spent big on these lights because not many people have them xD Pity you can't came to port botany and see them for real lol

Hey guys, I have a question about these lights.

I conducted a few tests on these angel lights. Unfortunately, I've come to the conclusion that these angel lights are not as bright as they appear on pictures on their advertisement and the pictures I've taken. I found that these lights are only good during the afternoon, cloudy days and evenings. But they're not good during the day.

The DRL strip is somewhat bright, but they're not bright enough that they're visible during daylight which completely defeats its purpose.

As for the halos, they're really week and can only be seen during the evening when the sun is almost gone.

Is it possible to actually open up these lights and replace the bulbs for the strip and replace the halos?

you will probably have to bake the light open and replace the halos all together , which no one probably will do , because that is the issue im faceing to get my halos fitted to my standard lancer lights because no-one wants to bake them to un seal them and trying to re seal them is a pain

Check out the below link ... this guy looks like his mastered taking apart Lancer headlights. Maybe he can upgrade your Ang Eyes ???

Thomas, when you say they aren't bright, how are you looking at them, are you lower to the ground or standing up? From a certain distance I would assume they would be ok and visible if someone was seeing it from another car.

That's how the BMW angel eyes are at least when viewing them from a certain angle, except the new E70's and F30's etc, they are crazy bright :)

There could be a way to overdrive the leds and chuck more wattage through them, but that would kill them eventually.

Hey Michael.

Yes in all angles it just doesn't look that bright at all. I've contacted the guys who sold it to me. They wanted to know if my voltage goes below 9v. But mines sitting at 14v which is apparently perfect. I mean these angel lights are more like nightime lights rather than daytime lights.

Look at mwans lights. These are the same ones as I bought.
