Hey, currently looking for a new car and considering a second hand RA (2010/2011 models, <50,000kms).
Any advice is appreciated.
Cheers,
Josh

Ok I'm going to help.
1 - If you want crazy performance, buy the EVO. But for a modded streeter RA is great.
2 - You probably already know, RA only comes with SST transmission. There is no manual option
3 - These cars are really easy and cheap to tune for performance (to a point)
4 - Join us
These later ones seem to be ok with the gearboxes so you probably won't have to worry about that. A few earlier ones had problems, but most are sorted under warranty.

RA's are damn awesome cars. They're a bit more livable then the Evo's but with a lot of its performance. And has been said they can get a whole lot better very cheaply
As Marcus said, steer clear of the older ones as they seem to have the most problem in regards to gearbox etc. Seems like the pre 2009 ones have been the most problematic
