Im a new member in a bit of a pickle

Postby cj-red-rocket » Sat Apr 07, 2012 1:07 pm

Hi everyone i have recently become a first time lancer owner with the purchase of my 2007 VR CJ lancer. I must say i have never been disappointed but i am a little bit curious. You see i was just out driving around my car and the display flashed up with ASC OFF service required and I know that its a problem with the ABS/ASC in the rear wheels. Im just curious if anyone else has had this problem and if it was expensive. Would love any help on the matter.

Cheers Luke[/img]

a friend of mine that has a 2008 vrx lancer said that it is most likely a sensor or the wire at the back left or right wheel. he said that the problem started showing up about 2 months after i left mitsubishi

It might not be under warranty. The vehicle is a 2007 model and you have just bought it. I thought Mitsubishi warranty is 3 years, then another 2 years if the same owner. I'd get it checked before paying up.
