As the title says...
Went out to goto work and see my doors not shut properly. Same with the boot..
Get in and my centre consol and glove box had been emptied onto the seat and floor..
Pretty pissed..
They took my ipod touch, it was like the first or second generation touch, so pretty old.. my ipod and phone charger cables, and the dual usb port cigarette socket plug, my sun glasses, and the ash tray along with about 5 bucks in coins...
They also tried to siphon fuel, but my fuel was still almost full so I doubt they got any..
Pretty pissed..
I'm in East Geelong, so if anyone is from around there, clearly someone or somones are tolling around late at night.

hi hobba
maybe it is time to install an alarm system in your car. cause if they got in this time, then what is stopping them trying again
That's pretty bad, I'm in South Geelong so it's not as bad here, but there's still a lot of vandalism.
All the cars at my house get locked away as much as possible.
Last week we had a yard in Moolap broken into and several hundred litres of diesel siphoned out.
No other damage though so they would have been organised.

Alarm System to me is still a must although a lot of new buyers have recently opted not to go for one.
Statistics shows that the "blinking red light" alone has saved car alarm owners a lot of money.
In most cases that break-ins do occur on cars with no alarm investigations often say the same thing "they just had too much time".

well my ipod and sunglases was sitting in that slot under the radio behind the ashtray, but the phone and ipod charger was pluged in and the cords hanging around which probably made the ipod and sunnies more visible.

i do the same thing, which is why i am 99% sure that i didnt leave it unlocked..
would it be easy for someone who knew what they were doing to slide a coathanger or somthing down the window to jimmy the door open?? or is that too hard/impossible in new cars these days?
