To Gary and Beeble - what date did you guys send the samples? You sent to same address as last time I'm assuming? I thought they'd have turned up by now?

I have sent some Castrol Transmax Dual up yesterday... Nick should hopefully get it today or tomorrow.
Very keen to see how that compares against the OEM fluid. Many people say it is the same thing :)


despite all these results thus far I'm still using, and being asked for by most people, the OEM stuff.
We'll see if that changes!

Flat out at the moment guys. Got the Transmax in. According to the FTIR

DiaQueen = Ford = Transmax

This is only one test however. I still need to do viscosity, and density to see if those are also the same.

Will get a comparison graph up of the Transmax FTIR when I get the chance - may not be for a while though as work is hectic for the next few weeks.

looks like Adams predictions maybe correct at this stage
good for all of us as i think the transmax is the cheapest, but is it easy to get a hold of here?
