Excellent, nice work bringing together all the info. Any chance you could provide the original word document as well? Or even better in pdf format?

Also I would recommend CB radios too, perhaps Channel 27 as the official channel?

If people have them and use them very sparingly, radios would be good.
I recall there being a club policy of not using them somewhere though...

Now we've sorted the issue of using CB radios, here's an idea of what to bring:

- snacks; it's not a short drive
- camera
- CB radio
- a full tank
- the cruise plan
- if you normally just listen to the radio, bring along some CDs or your iPod, reception may not be so good at some points
- bathers+towel, if you want to have a quick swim at Apollo Bay
- snow chains, off-road tyres, tow rope, electric winch, shovels
- a positive, respectful attitude
