Ordered a set of replacement H11 bulbs from Powerbulbs in the UK - cos they had their 25% off special.

These bulbs will replace the foglights. They're Osram Night Breaker Plus, +90%. I'm planning to place a yellow tint film in front of the foglight lenses, hoping combined with the brighter bulb they'll shine through the tint and be 'normal' light intensity. Should be useful as winter is coming up.

Today I went to the post office to come out and see some old guy had parked his ED Ford Falcon into my front bumper.

Lucky I had a witness.

Damage:
Front chrome vinyl damaged
number plate bent
It looks like bumper paint has been scratched too but I will not be able to see until vinyl is removed.
front grill chrome marked.

All will have to paid for to be fixed and or replaced but I should be able to just replace chrome vinyl which will cover the paint of the bumper and the grill is not noticeable unless you are really close. I will try to push out number plate if not I will replace too.

Total cost approximately $700-800.

The old guy was upset and tried making me feel guilty but I am not going to accept damage to my car without compensation. If he cant afford to pay for these sort of repairs then he should not drive.
