Man what a shambles ... vote rigging in a ROTM comp? And then attempts to just sweep it under the carpet? Seriously what's up with this place? I mean it's not like everyone isn't going to win ROTM eventually anyways (except Ben ... sorry mate )

Mitch ... did you know anything about this going on? Let's just get some honesty going yeah? I'd much rather people just spit out what happened and we can all move on, rather than a whole bunch of "no comments".

Side note: Chubb should totally be the winner. It's important to keep my streak of voting for the eventual winner running

Really I don't care about winning or losing ROTM it is not the vain of my existence. It really should have been rigged so those less fortunate to have a nice car could have won, cough - Ben - cough (hehe sorry mate )

I reject that accusation on behalf of the committee. As soon as I discovered the anomaly and verified it, within minutes I was on the phone attempting to contact the other exec team member. That same night I started a committee thread, for all of comm to see and discuss what to do with the ROTM result. So hardly sweeping it under the carpet.
Yes it took longer than needed, but unfortuantely the comm are not all on here at the same time, following the same life schedules as each other, in the same timezones. It can take time to get concensus from everyone. That's the nature of the beast.

The comm have not sought to hide anything. I'm sorry if you get that impression. We've stated in summary the available facts as we currently have them.

We brought this to light within a reasonable time frame.
We needed to ensure our consensus was shared.

No. Matt changed the root system passwords, what underpins the forum software, mail and web server software.
The forum software (phpbb) is not the issue here - I still am Snr Moderator... hope that clarifies it.

something's happened (intentional or not) and then admin's passwords are changed?
we all know mattigins is VERY proficient with computers, he must have an inkling of whats happened, but not a SINGLE word? c'mon

He probably did it just to help Mitch out, Mitch has entered a few times without success, so maybe Matt decided to help him win for a change, if so, the thought was nice, but that doesnt excuse the abuse of power and cheating.
