Yeah what the hell is with that.
Is it a bogan thing or something?
Pretending to be an American car brand isn't exactly prestigous lol.

Well, not really gonna add too much to what's been said, but here's my 10cents....
- Drivers who vary their speed by up to 10km's whilst I'm trying to cruise on cruise control
- The driver sitting right on my arse - least sit 1 second back so you don't have to vere around me and nearly wipe me out when I brake suddenly to avoid a kangaroo that's bouncing across the road
- Learners in mummy/daddy's V8 4WD.... Really, WHY is there not a law against this????
- Any P-plater in a car more powerful than a basic lancer. Again, our cars are reasonably powerful at stock, can do at least 50km's above the speed limit. Why does the governments not see that new drivers need to be far more restricted - 3.2L V6's are too powerful for idiots who don't realise how much 'sense' there is to learn
- Anything else others have mentioned (although, having been a Hyundai Excel driver prior to seeing the light I don't understand the bias against excel drivers having good audio)

2009 Lancer VR Platinum Sportback
Yeah the chevs!
What is with that?
I saw a taxi badged as one. Is there somewhere that actually sells them like that? Theres so many and they appeared almost overnight (I think, maybe I just became into cars overnight).
And yeah P plater's stupidity isn't limited to the car. I'm a P plater but I don't think I'm bad. Never been in trouble for anything anyway.
I've seen getz's hooning before. Though I guess what you're saying is that anything that can do burnouts etc is too much?
Personally I'd hate a slower car. I want to be able to floor it onto highways etc and get some satisfaction out of it (not speeding onto them, calm down).

Hmm... a number of mine have already been mentioned...
Fog lights on in clear nights - and in some cases even during a bright sunny day (I've got sunnies on because the light is bright even behind my tint... you DONT need your fogs on!) - and not dipping their lights would have to be high on my list.
I drive an unlit back road (90km/h limit) after midnight, regularly. This is a road that is a regular bypass for trucks and truck drivers always dip their lights ahead of corners and so do I... it's not hard to spot high beams well ahead on this road.
4WD's that sit on my tail, especially at night when I'm on cruise at the speed limit. At least buy me dinner first

Foglights is purely an attitude thing.
Almost a way of saying 'I mean business', but in a way that is ignored by other people who aren't similarly minded. Omg sounds lame haha
Also, back when I wasn't aware of the laws, I and my friends used to use them at night so we could easily distinguish each-other in our rear-views if someone got left behind. Better than flashing your lights or flooring it and getting close enough for them to tell who you are. And better than them spending too much time looking in their mirrors and not at the road.
I completely don't mind other people having them on, so I don't really like the laws...
I don't think my mum even knows how to turn hers on (thats what she said )

I agree about the whole rebadging thing, but IMO the astra is acceptable. Look under the hood and you will see Opel everywhere. Essentially Holden ordered RHD astras badged as a Holden. People who badge as Opel are just reversing it!
