It might shake itself out one day... We have a new outlander as a work car, it has the same engine as the lancers, and it looks small in there! you can actually see the ground through the engine bay! Haven't been able to do that with cars for at least 20 years now!

You can see the ground through the engine bay of my 93 coupe, but it's still tight to work on. I'm amazed how some CE owners have squeezed V6 engines in the same kind of space.
