Thanks Jade, Nicholas
Nicholas the roof was $250, took about 2 hours. Done by the Sign Surgeon, look on FB and you should find him or www.signsurgeon.com.au for some more pics of his work, including I believe at least one other ClubCJ member's car. A bit far from Rydalmere but I'm sure there's someone in Sydney that could do it and I'd imagine at a pretty similar price. Apparently it's good for 5-7 years, I reckon it looks great and is good value for the money, sell the car and if the person doesn't like it they can just peel it off and you have a pristine roof. Just ask if you want to know anything else.

Nice one - $250 isn't too bad. I'd rather have someone else do it - i know putting on the carbon look spats on mine was a pain in the ass lol so I imagine a roof would be much worse. All the best.

Glad you mentioned the spats as I had been considering them... prob wont now, that was the nail in the coffin.
Well don't let me put you off too much - i think the spats do look very cool. Honestly they weren't that much of a big deal - once i figured out the correct amount of soapy water to use (note - not much!) it was ok. The annoying bit was wrapping it around the corners and trimming it up. I probably spent an hour doing the whole job, as I've never tried it before, and kept mucking around with it to try and get it right. I still got a couple of small bubbles in it but not too bad. I was just thinking that doing a large area like a roof would be quite tricky.

Nah, you didn't put me off, nail in the coffin tho'. I originally wanted to be really minimalistic, but got the idea of doing the roof in my head and did it, and I'm happy with it (so is she which always helps). So had let the idea of doing the spats go, did the bonnet vent, roof, reckon that's enough.
