Hey guys, I'm thinking about doing this soon but I want red LEDs and not too many on a strip (very subtle lighting). Where is the best place to get these? Fleabay?

i got mine from ebay... and they work perfectly.. !

i think ofey is able to get some also... !

Apart from splicing into the plug, as some have shown, did anyone find out how Mitsubishi connects the OEM footwell LED units in the car? Surely they are plug-n-play...

Can anyone shed light on how these modules are connected if you purchase them after point of sale.

im not sure how the factory ones are connected, i just removed the wire from its plug and then put both the LED strip and the door wire into the same socket.

From memory there was only one socket used for both doors... U just join the 2 led strips together into 1 and then into the socket.

hmmm I am getting some more powerful strips of LED now.. mine are a bit limp.
