if its not a lancer then its not worth it. lol, and you can probably just ask them for delivery to you or at least your closest dealership, most dealerships do it.

Generally when buying a car from interstate dealers they normally sell you the car with rego - so you can drive the car to melb and then once here you get rego for it in melb and return the plates to whereever you got it and request for a refund - or you can by the car get it without rego and get 2 permits to drive it from state to state from what ive heard - or the final thing is if your 100% going to get it get the vin and eng # and register it here and advise them you will bring it with paper work once you get back.
I almost got my RA from NSW until i went then and found out it was stuffed from too many hard take offs.

The good cars normally do sell fast, so if you find a nice one at the right price don't waste anytime thinking about it, just get it.lpy2009 wrote:sigh , just received an email and the car is sold

I sold my car to a guy in NSW. I cancelled the reg and took the plates off the car, the new owner then got a permit from vic roads for $50 so he could drive the car back to NSW. The price of the permit depends on how far you are driving, which roads you will drive along and how long you want it for. $50 was for a 2 day permit to drive the car from my place to northern NSW, around 1400km.
I still miss that car.
Here are a few pics of my car leaving with the new owner, on its way to its new home in NSW.
