EvoOz meets happen at the goodguys at oxley. fairly central location. undercover carpark maybe an idea for the next one cuz i garunatee that nundah location isn't near to anyone or anything lol

I live 10 minutes down the road from there...... there is a park near chermside, but not much for an actual car park..... I'll google some

the point i was making kym was that it seems like an odd place to have a meet as its only going to be convienient for 1 or 2 people rather than a decent number. i mean hell i'd love to have a meet up the top of mt coot-tha as i literally live at the bottom of it but its simply not fesible. theres not enough lighting or car parks that's why i suggested somewhere more central for the next meet

Oh I understand that completely Nic, I honestly do not have any issues with meeting anywhere In fact, I enjoy the drive to wherever

I've been looking around the northside on my travels, and there isn't much for meets aye. I know of a few nice places all along the water up near Scarborough, but that I reckon would be nice for like a BBQ event etc.

Many parks around here don't really have a "carpark" so to speak, all on roadside... But I will keep looking for a later meet just in case something pops up

Has anyone ever been to the Murarrie Sports Centre off Wynnum Rd. Plenty of parking but have never been there after dark so not sure about lighting. Will check it out and get back to you

what about the Staford shopping center its a bit more central on the north side

one of my favourite meeting spots (until it got announced on ACA and then the cops closed it down) is along the water at west end. plenty of parking and you have the river as a back drop for excellent photo's. it use to be the place to go on a thursday night to talk to other car nutters and then we'd all moved out to the airport and then to various other locations...*sigh* ah the good ole days

we could go to the dam up near where i live North Pine Dam heaps of parking BBQ areas Kids stuff for the oldies with kids. can make a social day or afternoon out of it. like have a QLD Clubcj members family outing.?
