cheers - yeah i got to admit i looked at all the colours and this one was my favourite ---- and i usually hate white - but on this car its by far i think its the best colour, black was my 2nd choice but trying to keep it clean would be a night mare and and any dints and scratches stick out like dog testis - my sis has a black es cj and its only a few months old and its not as good as it use to be.

Yeah man Black is a Biatch to keep clean. I wash her and detail her 2-3 times a week! But I love it!
White does look tough though, you can put black exterior mods on like a Vortex Generator or an Evo rear wing and it looks awesome too.

yeah see i wash mine about once a week - i got a water tank and a compressor so i dont go to thouse dodgy car washes and use the 'scratch free' brushes they have.
i also use to detail cars when i was younger so ive got a good idea on how to keep em looking showroom condition :D

Yeah nice,
Ive been using autoglym car wash and I gotta say im not that happy with it. Too many white spots. Can you recommend anything better? I wash it with that first, shammy it off then use mcguaires detailer to polish.

I use Meg's NXT car wash (purple stuff) which is really good, doesn't leave any streaks.

Yeah black is a bitch, just got back from a trip up the Nth coast & got about 2-3 new stone chips on my bumper... Trophies for a great drive I say!

McGuaires car products are fantastic especially the Gold Wash product - but even the good old Armorall does the trick - ull find that because your car is black it is going to have marks all the time no matter what product you use --- thats why when you got to a professional he will charge a lot more if its black - i find that also most professional detailers wont use market brands - they tend to find chemical suppliers and buy their products because they know them inside out - i know when i was washing ferrari's and lambos all the products we used were no-name brands that my boss got from a supplier - but no one ever complained about the quality or the price and trust me he charged a packet to do thouse kinds of cars.

Yeah I suppose if your washing so many car's you want to buy your chemicals in bulk hey. Saves $$$ Ill try McGuaires Gold and let you know how it goes, I'm pretty happy with their detailer product, the paint comes up like glass, you just have to remember replace the microfibre cloth every 4-5 washes or it goes hard and leaves swirl marks on your paint.
Cheers man, ill give it a shot!
