It shoudl at least come as a deletable option. Actually I can't see why you can't swap them with an ES/VR owner who might want the privacy glass look.
It would also be nice to be able to have privacy glass as an addable option on the fronts, but for marketing to maintain the 5 star ANCAP they could not (as I was told by a dealer).

I got my fronts tinted yesterday and they now match the privacy glass rear. Obviously the rears don't match perfectly but it looks good enough and at least there is now UV protection for the most important people- me and the missus :)

ps. ClubCJ sticker is on the other side of the car (drivers side).

lol so it was you jace.. martin told me that he just tinted a white evo x 5-10mins before i got there..

20% certainly looks dark! Hate to drive at night with it and try to see house numbers, in the rain!

Looks very hardcore..

Try turning into dark-ish suburban streets, lit only by old school flourescent street lights, cant seen pedestrians or cyclists with no hi-viz gear, very well. You have to make an effort and look harder. As long as you know your limitations you make concessions, or wind your window down in the name of safetly in rainy weather. Luckily I don't find myself in dark suburban streets. Then again cyclists should be wearig hi-viz and a light on their bike.

Is 20% street legal or not? I can never remember... but so far haven't driven at night. I am just looking forward to not burning my right arm all the time in the sun!

darkest legal is 35% so 20% is not legal :D

I've had 5% on my old car and it wasnt too bad lol so 20% should be ok :)

Haha I meant haven't driven since applying the tint... I am really bad at remembering not to wind down windows (even with the sticker and the windows lock- which doesn't lock drivers window)... so the safest solution was to drive the Civic around :)
