Then I masked up the join on the Lip to the Bumper with 3mm of each edge showing.

Then I caulked a bead of goldflex and trowled it off with a smooth butter knife to get a nice neat bead to be masked and sprayed to match the car for a seamless finish at a later date.

Next is the side skirts 8)

I had to purchase some more mesh from Atuobarn because the place I purchased the side skirts from alrady fitted the mesh to the raw skirts.
When I removed the mesh it cracked and snapped in half.

Anyway, I made up some more and used Black goldflex to glue them in place as well as adding patches of black vinyl to the inside of the skirts so that when you look through the mesh you cant see the overspray.

I also added a 20mm strip of 1mm polycarbonate to the raw edge that tucks under the car to give it more strength.

From now on it all of the same processes that I did on the rear lip are the same fro mthe side skirts in regards to fitting them out.

I painted it today.
It's in the booth drying off.
On monday Iwill mask up the vents, fog light surrounds and the lower lip section and paint it black to match the rear lip.

The same as this.

I was also thinking about painting the upper grill surround the same colour as the car like in the pic above

What's wrong with stock hubbies!!

Of course there will some rims coming.
Not sure what to get yet but they will be 18 inch.
Wanted to wait til the kit is fitted to try and match something up to it.

really nice rear diffuser.. very neat job on the Sikaflex ( should be called Stick-a-flex, never comes off your hands!)

No paint-matched spray, hence my use of the chrome strip.

Excellent look now, well done.

Looking real good there. As others have said, looks much better actually on the car. Can't wait to see more pics.
