other option for short people is to buy different seat rails to raise the seat up. i believe that HKS make them and they are available through japan parts

In all honesty if I was spending $70k on a car I would expect it to comfortably fit me without any modifications.

yeah but jace you're spending 70K on a high performance car. if i wanted to spend 70K on a comfy car i would have bought a BMW or an Audi. you have to consider what your sacrificing in an Evo and what you are gaining as a result. i'd happily trade power adjustable seats for extra ponies

You can have both, but why not just go faster....!?

Arutha, if you strip your interior out to bare bones, will you make warp factor 1 ?!

They obviously have an option for us over 6'2" people? I am hoping to get some racing seats and would need to source some rails, keeping them quite low...

high performance is one thing, but there are still basic expectations unless u are buying a track only car. and u dont need power adjustable seats but manually adjustable wouldve been good. don't get me wrong, the evo is a fantastic car, but i still have my value for money preposition which i need to fulfill. i may be a bit younger than some of the other guys on this forum are, but i can still remember when i hard to work my ass off to get $11 an hour only a few years ago.

btw , i checked the HKS kansai seat rails

there's 2 sets , one that sits higher than the stock one , but cannot be adjusted like the Lancer CJs. The height is set upon installation which is bad if your like 6" and your other half is like 5".

The other set would be to lower seating position for taller people

guess yellow pages(proposed by bye2u) will come in handy :D :D

LOL pretty close! I bought it at 21 a week after I got my fulls (damn NSW RTA licencing laws). But yeh, I may enjoy spending on my car, but I still am not going to waste money for no reason (some guys on another forum told me off when I said I like to drive economically if I don't need to rush and they said then don't buy Evo...)

Back on topic though, unfortunately my missus is still on her P's so no can do... and insurance is a killer as it is!
