The 380s, so much promise but pity about the cost of fuel killing the "aussie big car concept". :( Bad timing really.

It was a brilliant car but running costs were killing us and Rhondda had trouble parking etc because it was so big
I miss it sometimes though it was beautiful on trips really comfortable and heaps of power

Im not a big fan of the turtle wax ice or autoglym. Ive got the special polish for black cars by autoglym, and the Meguiars Next G stuff comes up waaaaaaaaay better. Hot tip for anyone interested in a good polish/wax

The polish you are using is old tech (Ultra Deep Shine?) :P

Get the Super Resin Polish... THAT is the one to get ;)

There are plenty of brands just as good as Autoglym, but my personal preference is Autoglym, others prefer mothers etc. I've tried others, but you just can't beet the Autoglym shine! haha

Super Resin Poilsh + High Definition Wax = WIN

Yeah Ive also tried the super resin. I find the super resin too 'soft' if you get what I mean. I can understand why ppl love it, goes on very easy, comes off even easier. I just like the thicker feel where you have to work it in a bit more. Each to their own. But having an older (8 year old) black car it's not the easiest car to get a good result, and the next gen stuff came up the best for me. I like Autoglym as well, I use the car wash (bodywork shampoo) and have found it better than Meguiars soft wash and various others like turtle wax.

At least this forums not like the VW one, if you mention any of these brands they basically belittle you lol, everyone on there use 'boutique' polishes and waxes, like ones you can only get from specially ordering them direct from the people who import them. And they cost a good 2 to 3 times more than the top shelf autoglym/mothers/meguiars. FFS, it's polish, I'd prefer to spend my money on engine mods... which are starting to come along nicely :D
