Telstra 500 GP track - have you driven on it?

I got my P's on Friday (yay!) and as a reward, Blade888 let me drive his shiny Sportback around part of the Telstra 500 track at Homebush :D

I was a good girl, and didn't hoon too much, but would have loved to have some more fun with it. The grandstand straights and twisty turns coming into it look awesome.

Anyone else had a burl around? Thoughts? Going to watch the race this weekend (either there or on tv)?

Would love to be there live but if not TV coverage,bourbons and a BBQ will be the order of the day!!!! LOL
The layout looks pretty impressive,Skaifey and the boys did a good job! :D

not in Sydney on Saturday, but will be there on Sunday. With the express buses on, not much excuse not to get out there and have a great day. Much easier/faster to attend than Bathurst (or Oran Pk, or Eastern Creek)

I haven't driven a track in Aaaaages and my baby 'Max' is still a touch on the new side.

Whst?! It's drivable by the public!?!?!?! Doh. Working nightshift this weekend unforotuantely.

Thanks to ozie for the colorization and photochop on a pic of Blade888's ride - made a superb base for my avatar! Such a pity that the Lancers don't come in that colour :p

At this stage I don't know - paying off the mortgage on the townhouse at the moment, and that's taking most of my dosh. I've got Blade888's old Ovlov though for grocery runs and errands - yay for rubber bumpers with built in suspension :p

my mate got to drive his parents walkinshaw on the track on the sunday.. lucky bugger! i wouldn't mind goin out for a drive around there :)

I see this pic as more purple-ish - might have to tweak the levels some more make it more obviously so, cos I'm a purpleygurly, not a pinkychicky! If there are purple or rainbows around, I gravitate towards them :p

If the not so mega meet ends up being a meet at Homebush, there might be some non-official touring of the track :p

I drove the track in a 65 seat bus - hehehe... not as fast as the V8s, but not far off!

scraverX - you lie! Your member name is part rainbow, but missing bits :p But since I'm fussy about the rainbows being in the right order and with all the colours, I'm not gravitating towards you. Sorry :p
