Coincidentally, I made some pictures of my fog lights last week. I think that the rear fog lamp is also very practical.

Sounds like I might be the only one in Oz to have a fog lamp, albeit just filling the hole.

But I wonder if the lamp would work if plugged into the adjacent wiring harness behind the bumper ........

It would plug in, but not work at all. For starters, it would need the switch on the indicator stalk (different stalk to the VR/VRX with front fogs) plus it would also need to be in the programming of the ETACS, but it is not :sad:

I toyed with the idea of getting the rear fogs for the sedan (replaces one of the reverse lights) but not even the wiring is in for ours.

I thought about that too Adrian, but I have enough trouble reversing at night as it is :P Damn having so many trees at home!
