I just wanted to point out that the Ralliart Snorkel which everyone was discussing so vigorously in another thread are in stock with Preston Motors. So no wait time at all save for the shipping time and the Friday collections that I carry out.

It's A$115 and I will hazard that shipping will cost at most A$15 *maybe less*.

If you want one, let me know?

Both Andros and deano1964 have got one now.

As with all things, spend within your means. Don't rush it. A car is a project in motion at all times.

You notice I don't jumpt at every offer.

However there are some offers which people need to go for when there's a chance.

I really really would like some dynamat to finish off the door panels in my car but I have priorities elsewhere and now with the new parts offered by Ultra Racing again I've had to re-adjust my aim.

I am eventually going to have to stop and save for my next car so God help us all... . A lottery windfall must happen soon!

Hmm, just out of curiosity, how much are the OEM reverse sensors. Do they come with a switch at the front?

A$295
What switch? My reverse sensors have no switch. They trigger themselves when you switch to reverse and are tied to your reverse lights.

Hmm, I was under the impression the reverse sensors had a switch where the ACS button is to toggle it on or off. I guess not!

On the topic of the MMCS unit. What's the best price people have been quoted to get one installed into a VRX. I asked when I purchased my car last week and the guy quoted me $2500 total including the MMCS+facia and installation, but the week prior a different dealership quoted me over $3000.

Do the price vary that much dealership to dealership, or was one of the salesman just full of it. I made it clear that I was interested in purchasing it in a few months and not with the car, so i'm assuming he didn't give me a haggled price on top of the purchase price of the car.

They're not being full of it.

An MMCS installed at point of purchase is always cheaper than buying it after a few months.

I have heard quotes of A$2300 as an add on at point of sale and up to A$3500 after a few weeks.

Put me down for one, I'll pay for them at the same time I pay for the sharkfin antenna. Will they fit in the same package as the sharkfin to save on postage?

Cheers

Sharkfins are NOT dispatched by me. I'm merely organising for us. The sharkfins are being dispatched by a Mod on OZMazda.
