ok i have done a bit of looking and the word on the streat/internet is that the problem that is sound you are having may not have anything to do with norton it has something to do with chrome not saving cookies properly.
first thing to check is go into the options for chrome and check the selections for cookies. if there is one saying "use cookies" tick that one on and if there is one that says something like "automatically delete cookies" turn that one off.
next thing..i dont think this one wont be the problem but it wont hurt to check
im assuming norton is running a firewall just check to allowances for the chrome program...i would be thinking if they where not right you wouldn't be able to get onto the net but hust check it anyway.
do me a favor just try to get on ebay again and then post exactly what it says is the problem...word for work please and i will continue to have a look around to see if i can find a solution.
but try those things and see how you go

yea.. Norton is classic for doing that, you'll be multitasking, browsing to a site while typing then it brings up a prompt during the browsing to either block something or not and if you can't touch type you'll be looking at the keyboard and won't notice it and the next time you press spacebar or enter it'll acknowledge whatever option was highlighted on the prompt on the screen and you won't even notice ahlf the time..
Very common issue amoungst all the Norton packages since 2005

Hey there Stacys ... How's your Google Chrome going now.?
Check your browser options, Ie; Top right hand side, U will see what looks like a spanner... Left click down to options...
Once open ... Goto the tab shown below ... " Under The Hood " ... Pan down to 3/4 of page, where U will find the " Cookies Settings " ...
I use Google Chrome myself, & eBay works for me.! - So unless U accidental changed a setting for Google Chrome, it might be a setting within Norton's.?
