i ordered mine about the sane time as Adrian it took 3 months. i go it on the 23rd of December 2007

Jamez, had you wanted a Grey Manual VRX without the RF, you could've had it sooner... Plenty of those in grey. Just none in Red, black or Electric Blue :lol:

I've heard dodgy stuff about Zupps, but your waiting time doesn't seem too long to be honest.

The funny thing was when I was shopping for my Lancer, Toowong Mitsubishi said a lot of bad bad things about Zupps when I told them the price they were offering me. They basically said it was all a lie... but we all know Toowong was lying!

Lol one of my mates from High School works at the Toowong Mitsi dealer and yeah they always bag out Zupps, they have like a little war going against each other or something bahaha!

I could have actually gotten mine on the day I dropped by the dealer to shop for a car but had to check finances first.

I had mine 2 days after - but I got a bargain basement price at the time for selecting one that was already at the dealer...

Yea. If you want a good price, choose one which is on site.That's how I got mine cheap!

If I'd gone with my original order time mine would have been around 3 weeks. It was still on the boat / or on the dock going through customs or such. All cars have to be Trucked in here (try getting a big cargo ship a few hundred k's inland and up a mountain, not going to happen lol).

As it was there was a big muck around with my finances so I had to cancel or lose my $500 deposit (which I technically couldn't afford at the time). Once things got sorted out though I went back and the exact car I'd ordered was right there on the lot (had my paperwork from the first order and the dealer checked the VIN). Then it was a 1 week wait for the rego and such.

Got them to return a call today and they said it would be here on the 24th or 25th of November... apparently it was stuck in customs... but earlier i was told it was only in a holding yard... eghhh. maybe i can get some free window tint or something out of this
