Zupps Mitsubishi

Hey, not sure if this is normal or what but I ordered my car three weeks ago yesterday and it has still not arrived. I was told it would be here within 2 to 3 weeks. The dealership (zupps in brisbane) has messed me around so much during the process of getting this car. How long did everyone else have to wait to get their cars??

p.s. apparently the car was/is in melbourne...

They're not the only dealer in Brisbane. Usually you would send them an ultimatum. Get it here by friday or you'll go somewhere else.!! But....the RX are running out so quickly that supply and demand are very limited in some areas. I know in T'ville, we had 3 sent to our city. All were on back order from the start so no new buyers could get any for another 2 months. Brisbane isn't as bad as that, but more people in the city. It is a great offer with what you get for the RX, so you may just have to suck it up and wait.

Sorry mate.

My car also had to come from a Victorian dealer up to Armidale (6 hours south of brissy) it took them just over two weeks to get the car then a further couple of days for the pre-delivery.

Yeah well I think I was really lucky because before I got my car the dealer had trying to get a vrx for floor stock for several months, and after talking to then the other day apparently they are having trouble again. However they are only a very small dealer.

Honda city? no way... good engineering but the quality in that car is just terrible. Push the door trims and they move in! The boot has bare metal everywhere! Seriously the city to me felt more like a daewoo...

But the drive was nice and smooth though.

Is the honda city simply a name change for the civic or is it a different model all together.

My Lancer took about a week. It was in storage in Adelaide so I was lucky. It takes 2-3 days to deliver due to rego/ and service department inspections.
My wifes Toyota Corolla took almost 4 months as it had to be built first in Japan as they did not have our model with the extras we ordered. I screwed them further down on price with getting free services and $850 cash back. It turned out well as it was delivered as a Januarary car rather then October, giving us better resale value!

I had to wait 3 months for mine. Had no choice, as there was none in the country at the time.

(I ordered 27 September 2007, delivered 12 December 2007)

Mine took two weeks to get ready, I test drove the exact car that I bought too.

Took them a while to get it registered and all the dealer accessories on.. I'd hate to imagine that + freight!

Patience is a virtue though :)
