Should I Get an iPhone?

I went to optus today, they had the iphone on a $19 plan and $27 repayment per month for the 16gb 3Gs edition....I asked them about the compatibility of the TPG on the phone and whether it would work or not, he said it wont work but if its on a contract, I can unlock it for free?

Im not sure if its just me, but that doesnt sound right...Unlocking your phone by optus WHILE your still in contract?

Yes its true tadz..

i made my gf get on a contract when it first came out so that i could get the iphone!

and she went on optus and they did the same thing for me although they didnt need to in the end because it worked with Soul...who merged into TPG

I'm quite happy with my 32GB 3Gs but how could I not be when it was free - let that be a lesson to my boss, never ask what it will take to get me to work on the weekend.

i have used every phone company around, taking a liking to HTC. the customisation & features were second to none. Once i got an iphone i was surprised at the ease of use & overall it had everything!, yet i hate itunes. But with a jailbreak, everything became right, now onto a 3gs also jailbroken. The amount of apps i have now

! Lol!
