November cruise

Postby BrettCQ » Sat Oct 24, 2009 6:51 am

Good morning all.

I was just wondering if a full day cruise through the mountains in late
November sounded good.
I was thinking something along the lines of Meet at Ferny Grove Tavern
on to Dayboro, up over Mt Mee, down through Woodford, up through Belthorpe or Malaney out to Kenilworth, up through more mountains
where the new Traviston dam will be and come out just before Gympie.

Now the roads are AWESOME to say the least.
SPECTACULAR scenery, but it really would be a full day.
I have driven the roads many times, and they really are awesome.

I will be traveling down from Rockhampton again,as I did
for the Mt Glorious cruise.
Much more driving this cruise.... we could do lunch at a country pub,
BBQ, picnics, anything you like.

Please let me know if you are interested,as I`d really like to get this one
off the ground.

Chat soon Brett

Hey Arutha,

I noticed that.
Looking forward to seeing it.
Mine is at Mercury now
Getting bigger turbo
larger injecters
new manfold
lowered 30mm
larger intercooler
dump pipe
new heavy duty clutch
lightened flywheel
braided brake lines
new performance pads
better quality fluid
possible larger fuel pump?
and a host of other goodies.......
I`m glad you are coming along, we`ll have a ball.
Your car must be awesome, I had a look earlier.
Are you happy with it so far??

Mate can you help me spread the word about the cruise please.

Thabks Brett

usually about a day mate. i dont spend too much time on there anymore. too many people with big egos on there trying to tell me how to modify my own car.

wow brett this thing sounds like its going to be a monster. now i really cant wait for november to come.

i'll pass along the word to frazza and see if he and a couple of other X's can make it

Hey Arutha,

You must have some big HP now, I m guessing its running well.
Did I see your car up to about 420 hp was that yours????
I`ve been reading all the posts, so I think it was yours.

If it was I`m guessing it is a huge improvement, can you tell me
how different it is, as I`m hoping to get close to that.
Is it going nuts around 3500 rpm or is it snappier,or just pull harder,
how would you describe it??

Hey Arutha,

I went back and looked at your Evo,
My god you have done some great stuff, I am so looking
forward to seeing it.
It must be a weapon!
I`m really interested to know how the difference in performance is.
As I`m aiming for the same thing.
I know the drive would be awesome as I`ve done it many times,
there are spots you actually get all 4 wheels off the ground ( if you so desire) there is fast stuff, twisty stuff, slow stuff, hairpins, you name it its there. But AWESOME SCENERY..
I made it in N ovember so I have my car back......
