Krispy + Movember + ClubCJ = Winner for a great cause
G’day All,
I have decided to put down my razor for the month of November and help raise awareness and funds for men’s health – specifically prostate cancer and depression in men. I am growing a moustache this year for Movember Last year our team raised just over $8000 and this year I would like to open the invitation to all of Club CJ to help this great cause.
You might be asking why? Well it’s not because I don’t have to shave for a month and there’s nothing work can do about it
It’s actually because September last year I lost my grandfather to prostate cancer so this cause is extremely important to me because what many people don’t appreciate is that close to 3,000 men die of prostate cancer each year in Australia and one in eight men will experience depression in their lifetime - many of whom don’t seek help.
Facts like these have convinced me I should get involved and I am hoping that you will support me. In addition to that it’s a way to help me remember my grandfather and hopefully help someone elses grandfather, father, uncle, brother, son or mate.
I’m sending a shout out to all the moderators and admins to sign them selves up for this great cause and lead their state on a Club CJ Mo’vember Cruise close to the end of Mo’vember. *Details yet to be confirmed but stay tuned*
To sponsor my Mo’ Click Here - Krispy's donation page and donate online using your credit card or Pay Pal account (Remember, all donations over $2 are tax deductible). Or to find out more about signing up (looks at moderators!) drop me a line @ send me an chrisp@supercheapauto.com.
Movember is now in its sixth year and, to date, has achieved some pretty amazing results by working alongside The Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCFA) and beyondblue: the national depression initiative. Check out further details at: http://au.movemberfoundation.com/research-and-programs.
I'll be posting some photos of the progress (or lack there of) of myself and the team. So I hope you ignore the fact I'm about as hairy an over ripe peach and focus on the fact this is a great cause
I'll be trying for something between the 2 circled lol
