I don't believe anybody can transfer phone numbers...

They all have to be entered manually. (Except if you have the MMCS I think, but you have no voice control for the phone then.)

Ah ok.

I know 33ASY has the MMCS and an iPhone, and I am pretty sure his contacts worked. So I can ask him how he did it if you like.

Mine works fine, as long as I don't want to initiate the call from the car. Receiving calls and dialing out from the phone work fine.

I have spoken to Mitsubishi, and they know about it, as does R&D in Japan. They may decide a firmware flash for the BT module is in order... but who knows if it will be for newer models or backdated to ours

ok so what ur saying is to answer and hang up a call you must use the phone rather than the steering controls?

Nokia 6121 doesn't work for outbound dialling. Everything else is fine.
I run firmware version V5.11 (21-04-08)
Also tested a 6121 from work with firmware V4.09 and that also had the same issues.

When a call comes in, you can take it via the steering wheel as it is meant to be. The only thing which does not work for new Nokias is initiating the call from either the car's inbuilt phonebook or spelling out the number to the car...

Using the phone Itself to make the call works, and once the other person answers the handsfree tales the call from the phone.

Well my car is in for it's 1500k service now and raised the BT issue. Guy behind the counter mentioned there was some sort of update which gave it more interoperability with a wider range of phones. I have asked if they have, then to update. Will find out in a new hours I guess. :)
