dont think mitsubish aus. has the same attitude towards the aftermarket scene etc.. where as mitsu in the US in a way kind of supports this view..

Funny you should say that...
Tickford, now FPV used to have an open day every year and they would invite clubs to attend and display their cars. One year the Police thought it was a good idea to pull over as many cars as they could as they were leaving at the end of the day doing road worthy checks. Not a very good year that one, I didn't get pulled over so I was lucky.

Everyone complained to Tickford and then Ford and Tickford complained to VIC Police and that was the last time cars got pulled over when the open day was held...
They were present and if someone did something stupid they still got pulled over, but thats fine.
Unlike the year that they were pulling over as many cars as they could, handing out defect notices.
