To put under car braces on, I would strongy suggest you get the car jacked up as high as possible and you need to get stands under it. When

If you cannot do this, don't attempt it. Pay someone to do it.... or become friends with a mechanic and use their hoist ;)

NEVER get under a car supported only by a jack. ALWAYS use proper support stands.

Yes guys. Don't use jacks. LAst thing you want is the car to fall down on you. 1.35 tons is not nice...

been there done that, i always hop under the car with only a jack. might wait till i go back to cowra one weekend and get the old man to help. he has all the tools. plus an ex Auto TAFE teacher

O_O yeh thats wat my uncle said as well but when i was installing my extractors i only used a jack cos my mate was using the stands to install his extractors, couldnt wait so just use jack >.< was gona jack my car 2day and put my stocko wheels back on but now u guys have all said this about the jack not beening safe im scared now to go under the car lolz

Its ok for changing wheels!
Just make sure the wheel u are going to put on is put underneath the car as u jack it up. Then when u take the the wheel off...swap them over.
By keeping the wheel underneath, if it was to fall, means that it won't fall all the way.
