All the diesel ones I have seen for sale are very tired - most with 300,000+km on them.

There are some V6 petrol ones around with 170-220,000km between 6 and 8 grand for a manual.... Not a bad deal.

the reason the v6s are so low kms is the fuel usage! My old boss used to get 400kms from the 140L of fuel his took (dual tanks). shocking!

The diesels would still be ok with high kms! They are diesels!!

The rodeo, I mean Colorado I am driving has only 23000 on it haha

Most diesels are 4WD and have been trashed in the bush though - I was more talking about the body than the engine - although I know of a few diesels that were changed over at around the 300,000km mark for various reasons.

400km from 140 litres is a NIGHTMARE THOUGH - 35L/100km - are you sure that's right! - I have driven buses that use less than that and they have 12 litre engines....!

I knew they were thirsty, didn't realise they were that bad. They sound good though! I remember when the NSW Police had them....

I know of a couple of people who kept brand new ones for 3 - 6 months and got rid of them. They are that bad on petrol. Make no mistake.
