My Samsung A411 (or A412 same phone) works good.

Problems I have had were with the Bluetooth box which was replaced by Mitsu mo ago.

I had a thread up about it and phone compatability in the relevant forum section.
There may be other models listed there not yet on this list.

Thanks everyone who responded after my request. I decided to get an iPhone after all as my husband said at least I will only carry 1 thing instead of 2 (iPod & phone). So I have already filled the iPhone (I love my music). I will have to go through my music to get rid of some :(
(I want more space!!!). Haven't linked it to the car yet but I'll try tomorrow. I've got facebook to work so far (yeah I know woopy do) but anyway, I'm learning.

Anyway, thanks again!!!

(I really hate the iPhone. Useless as a phone IMO. But I love my iPod Touch!)

I like the iPhone!!

It does everything I want, and more. I don't even use it to play music!! It defintely isn't as good as the hype says it is though.

Nooooo, it has to work!!! I couldn't stand to pay more money for a phone that's no good. $400 for the E63 was bad enough.

I was torn between getting a bigger iPod & the E51 or the iPhone. The iPhone won out. I just hope I made the right decision.

I'll try and keep this short and sweet haha

Don't get me wrong, the iPhone and what it does is great. The touch interface is revolutionary, the ease of use is great too. BUT my beef is as a "smart phone" which Apple says it is, it seriously lacks a lot of features and functionality that should be expected.

So I have an iPod Touch, but for my phone I'd rather something that I can do a whole lot more with. Hence my Nokia E71.

My husband has the E71 & he wanted me to get that a while ago & then we saw the E63 & I liked the red so I got that. But I couldn't ring out on the bluetooth. So I got another card for my old phone - Nokia 6111 (which I ruined at Avalon Airshow from the wet weather) to use in the car (I loved that phone). But the fact I couldn't use the same phone all the time bugged me. I even thought of upgrading the stereo but we seem to have a thing that if the stereo gets upgraded we end up buying a new car. It happens all the time, even my son had the same thing. So iPhone it is. The E63 is a great phone but I make most of my calls from the car so the bluetooth part has to work.

Geez I ramble. Sorry!!!

I can still dial out from my phone with the car, but I just can't use the car to do it. I initiate the call from the phone, then the car's HFS takes over once the other end picks up.

E63 is just a cheap E71 :P

HTC Hero > *
As far as the phones I've used go, the Hero tops ALL of them. I am not even slightly kidding, without a doubt best phone I've used. The OS is great, but what HTC have doing with the UI is fabulous.

The chin is love or hate, personally I love it. It fits perfectly in your hand and in your pocket it flows along your natural contours, and also lets you know it's there nice and snug.

Only grips are average camera, and occasional sluggish interface. The latter is going to rectified in the upcoming update.
