Do you know if the one in there is a X42 Black Tarmac ?

Hard to tell from that pic, looks like a dark gunmetal. :?

I'd just paint it a satin or matt black. X42 is a pearlescent black

Yeah , it's hard to see from that picture ;p

I'm thinking about the X42 because i just ordered a roof diffuser from Shadows in the X42 color , so i thought i should get one that is matching.

Satin and matte black gives it a plastic feel to it yeah

u can get this stuff called "bumper paint" or something similar, which is used to spray bumpers to give them that "unpainted plastic bumper look" - probably what I'd consider using, altho I've never seen the results myself, but it's very inexpensive cos u can buy it in a pressure-pak can instead of having to get it mixed/matched etc. might be worth looking into...

I've just received my quote of $484 for the rear diffuser , thats including freight to melbourne + gst.

It'll prolly be cheaper for you if your in NSW cause i think talonbodystyling is in NSW.

I've never asked them about one in CF but i think they don't offer carbon fibre parts unfortunately. :(

I've seen one like that one in CF so if it doesn't come in CF, I might have to go for the other one.

u can get a LOT of different surface treatments these days man - there's an EVO X spoiler in CF trim, but it's just ABS plastic with some uber-cool paint effect or something... looking at something u can't tell if it's CF anymore - u really needa be told by whoever's making it, or hack at it a bit and see if it's plastic underneath etc...

Like - u may have seen a CF one, every chance that they're out there... but just saying ;-)

Pretty sure Talon are in a Sydney suburb called Kirrawee
Shouldn't be too hard to find out.

Doesn't come in CF. The CF one I saw comes up a bit too high and interferes with the rear parking sensors.

MIT-117 REAR DIFFUSER INC TWIN S/S TIPS
PART PRIMED 280.00 + FREIGHT + GST
PART PAINTED 380.00 + FREIGHT + GST

Thats a good price. I wonder how much better they can do for a group buy.
I think this is the one that I'll go for.
