I kinda figured that's what you meant, but since I've never attempted to take my grille out I wasn't sure.
There are 6 plastic rivet things. The 2 on the snorkel are screws, but the rest just pop up then you have to push them back down a bit and grab the lower part, not the part that pops up to pull them out.

I got no luck
the bumper came out with all bubbles and messed up looking, ah
When I got my vinyl from the sign writters (which I have still not fitted), he said to spay the area where you are going to put the vinyl with a mix of soapy water. In thinking, this is the same as what you do when applying film to windows.
If you heat gently, and I mean gently with a hair drier, this might soften the glue a little so you can squeegie the bubbles out. Don't pierce the bubbles with a pin as it will look crap when it gets wet and will also allow water ingress.
Hopefully the above helps.
Ozie, Maybe you could add this into the "how to's"

I was going to edit my note before, but thought best saying it separately.
The reason why he said to use soapy water when applying the vinyl is so you can still slide it around a little and get the bubbles out alot easier as the vinyl has an adhesive backing. The sun will dry the moisture out eventually.
