Labret piercing

Postby Graham » Sat Aug 22, 2009 6:16 pm

I got my Labret pierced yesterday and it sucks!!

I was thinking about doing it for a while (a year or so..) and my friend from work said he was getting a tattoo and suggested I get my labret done so i thought yeah why not..

It didn't hurt that much though, the usual 15 seconds of pain then it goes away but it's so hard to eat food now, even some facial expressions can move it around and hurt :(

I'm still getting used to it, it could change and I may like it but for now I'm stuck with it untill it's healed up. If it gets infected and I take it out then the infection will be sealed inside and i definately don't want that

I thought only chicks do that??? I haven't seen many dudes that pierce just the labret. Unless they get it as a package deal - with eyebrow, nose, lip, nipple, testicle and so on.............

It'll heal, bathe it in salty water for like 2 minutes a day and get rid of the crusties, will be good in no time.

Personal experience, have like 7 piercings.

10 years ago I had the same thing happen. Just kept pushing it forward out of the skin. Can't remember if it was the plain steel or that other alloy they use.
Can still see the scar today.

I also have my eyebrow pierced and I didn't have any problems with that apart from an infection or two.

Yeah I was bathing it in salt water on Friday, I was also told 50% listerine and 50% water is good aswell, but I haven't tried that yet!

Eating is a bit better so far though :P
