I got my Labret pierced yesterday and it sucks!!
I was thinking about doing it for a while (a year or so..) and my friend from work said he was getting a tattoo and suggested I get my labret done so i thought yeah why not..
It didn't hurt that much though, the usual 15 seconds of pain then it goes away but it's so hard to eat food now, even some facial expressions can move it around and hurt
I'm still getting used to it, it could change and I may like it but for now I'm stuck with it untill it's healed up. If it gets infected and I take it out then the infection will be sealed inside and i definately don't want that

I had my eyebrow pierced for about a year and it got infected. All save you the story but i ended up with paralasys on one side of my face and i lost feeling in it for a few days. Thankfully everything healed up good and now i only have a little scar from the piercing. Shoulda seen the scab it made though, pwarrr thing was huge rofl

10 years ago I had the same thing happen. Just kept pushing it forward out of the skin. Can't remember if it was the plain steel or that other alloy they use.
Can still see the scar today.

I also have my eyebrow pierced and I didn't have any problems with that apart from an infection or two.
Yeah I was bathing it in salt water on Friday, I was also told 50% listerine and 50% water is good aswell, but I haven't tried that yet!
Eating is a bit better so far though
