Now please stop. I am actually of the opinion of deleting both your posts.
In future if both of you want to bicker, please do it via PM. Once either of you sense it going to a escalate, PM each other. Then when you've settled it with each other, tell us who's won.
In the words of my doctoral supervisor and my current boss:

Actually, as long as you build up a car systematically..anything is possible. My last car was a supercharged Falcon XR6. Some comments here are correct, you really want to make sure things like tail shafts, brakes, radiator cooling capacity, bottom-end strength and conrods/cotter pins are equipped for the difference in torque.
But you could easily put a turbo on the car, built up correctly. The Toyota Aurion is running almost twice to the FWD and works... I could mention a few European FWD that have even more. The torque steer is evident but not uncontrollable.
I think, to be on the safe side, you would be spending near $5K to effectively turbo this car (be it a 2.0 or 2.4).
I am seriously thinking I would like to do it too...
Imagine the poor CVT !!!!!!

EDIT: Changed for ofey.
EDIT AGAIN: Knowing that I wanted you banned just shows the lack of structure in our committee. Discussions in the committee on situations like yours shouldnt be spoken about outside the committee. Kinda glad you know now because i wasnt the only one who voted for it.
Im giving up on this thread now, im really over it.

It's nothing to do with the topic at all - but if you want to feel torque steer - try driving a front wheel drive Ford Focus diesel with 320Nm of torque. It would blitz any non turbo Lancer!
meh..
meh..
